Dear Students,

We are pleased to share an exciting postgraduate study opportunity offered by Beijing Normal University (BNU), China, through its Jingshi Academy.

Applications are invited for the Master’s Programme in Global Development and Governance (GDG), a two-year postgraduate programme conducted entirely in English. The programme aims to develop future leaders and professionals in global governance, sustainable development and international cooperation.

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the programme adopts a problem-driven, project-based learning approach to address global challenges such as climate change, inequality, poverty alleviation and sustainable development.

All students admitted to the GDG programme will receive a full scholarship, which covers:

📋 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should:

  1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any field with strong academic performance.

  2. Demonstrate an interest in sustainability, global governance and social impact.

  3. Show leadership potential, community engagement and an interest in interdisciplinary learning.

  4. Meet the English language proficiency requirements:

    • IELTS Academic: Minimum 6.5; or

    • TOEFL iBT: Minimum 100.

    Native English speakers and graduates of English-taught degree programmes are exempt from the English proficiency requirement.
