We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Japan-ASEAN Online Program Towards SDGs 2025, an enriching intercultural exchange online workshop focused on "Actions Students Can Take on Environmental Issues". This program, co-organized by Chiba University, Okayama University, SUN/SixERS, and AUN, aims to promote cross-cultural understanding and collaborative problem-solving among students from diverse backgrounds.

Program Objectives
- Explore solutions to pressing environmental issues related to SDG Goals 7 (energy), 11 (urban air pollution, greenery), 12 (waste, food loss, plastic problems, etc.), 13 (climate change), 14 (oceans), and 15 (forests).
- Enhance intercultural communication skills through group discussions and collaborative work.
- Foster mutual understanding and respect for cultural and individual differences.
Key Highlights
- Interactive group work with peers from ASEAN and Japan.
- Lectures and individual tasks focusing on practical actions for sustainability.
- Presentation of group projects with feedback from experts.
- Certification of completion (attendance rate of 80% or higher required).
Participant Information
- Eligibility: Students from AUN and SUN/SixERS member universities interested in the SDGs.
- Participant Limit: 50 (30-40 from AUN; 10-20 from SixERS).
- Selection Criteria: Based on the quality of application responses and English proficiency, if applications exceed the limit.
